The Tarsals is a unique charitable trust dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals with foot and ankle ailments. Foot is the basic pillar of a human being. However there are so many individuals suffering from the lack of basic pillar of the body due to deformity or disease.
This trust focuses on the basic pillar of a human being which is the feet. TheTarsals is committed to give a pain free, deformity free, ulcer free normal feet. We are honoured to be given as the charitable society by the government and have the 80 G certifcation. We have absolutely a non-profit objectives in saving life by making each individual walk pain free. We ensure that every contribution serves the greater good, irrespective of caste or religion.

Our Mission
Our mission is to revolutionize foot and ankle healthcare in two ways. One is to education and secondly to help the affected patients directly.
Education
Knowledge of foot and ankle problems to the doctors, paramedics and general audience to identify and manage the various issues involving the foot and ankle pathology is very important to treat. Through various observership, global fellowships, social media and informative documentaries, we’re transforming the landscape of understanding of foot and ankle pathology. Our focus extends beyond to just a community awareness. We are striving hard for all to earthly citizens to walk on their own feet pain-free.
Medical and Financial Assistance:
This trust is trying to offer medical and financial support by giving a quality treatment with cutting edge technology especial to the economically disadvantaged individuals with foot deformities, thereby improving overall foot health and quality of life

Meet the Founders
Dr. Rajesh Simon
Dr. Rajesh Simon is a pioneer orthopaedic surgeon in foot and ankle in Kerala. He started his carrier in orthopaedics as a trauma surgeon. After working 10 years in a tertiary level hospital, he realized the dearth of neglect in understanding and treatment of foot and ankle issues. After various fellowships and observer ship around the world, he started the South India’s 1st exclusive foot and ankle clinic in 2015 in Lakeshore hospital. His commitment in foot and ankle education as well as treatment made him an international faculty in trauma and foot and ankle issues including the management of complex Charcot feet. His organizational capabilities elevated him to be the Secretary ( 2017-19) and later President of Indian Foot and Ankle Society in year 2022-23. He also represents India in Asian Federation of foot and Ankle.
The management of chronic foot problems including charcot foot in financially poor people provoked him along with Dr Dennis to start this trust with an aim to enhance the knowledge of foot and ankle and at the same time help the needy and financially challenged patients to walk pain free.
Dr. Dennis P Jose
Dr. Dennis P Jose developed a special interest in Diabetic foot management. He also started as a trauma surgeon initially. But his interest in diabetic foot got him teamed with Dr. Rajesh Simon. With a passion for community well-being, he actively contributes to the trust’s mission of education and management of the foot and ankle issues.

You can also help us financially. If you are a company with CSR funds, The Tarsal has been bestowed with the 80G certification from the Govt of India and is now a recognized Charitable trust. You can avail the tax benefits by giving the CSR funds to the trust and thus helping load of fellow human beings from their misery of painful /deformed feet walking.
